With over 25 years in General Practice we are able to manage the broad range of health conditions and have special interests that include Skin Cancer Medicine, Contraceptive Procedures including IUD and implanon insertion, and Women’s and Children’s Health.<\/div>

The latest covid-19 vaccine has arrived (December 2025) and we encourage you to get vaccinated if you are over 35 years and it is more than 6 months since your last covid infection, or more than 12 months since your last vaccine.<\/div>

From August 1st 2026 our fees will increase<\/strong>, in line with the increases in the medicare rebates announced on July 1st. The out of pocket expense for appointments less than 30 minutes duration will be $62 (previously $60) while the out of pocket expense for appointments greater than 30 minutes duration will be $90. My Medicare<\/h4>

North Sydney General Practice (NSGP) is registered with MyMedicare. This means that patients can nominate NSGP, and the doctor of their choice, as their principal medical practice.<\/p>

They can still see other doctors in other practices, but will only be eligible for longer telehealth items (eg long phone consultations or mental health phone consultations) with their registered practice.<\/p>

It will not make any difference at all to standard phone consultations, or to any face to face consultations.<\/p>

The registration process is very simple.<\/p>

You can register through your Medicare app, or you can to online and register through Services Australia:<\/p>

If you prefer, you can ask the practice to register for you and we have forms at reception for you to complete and sign.<\/p>

North Sydney General Practice also provides comprehensive services for contraception, paediatric services catering for newborns to teens, comprehensive travel medicine services, immunisations, health checks and employment health services.<\/p>
